About community colleges, university, teaching

Ok, I’m a very confused High school (soon to be) Junior.
My plan is to get a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese, move to Japan to teach English (You only need a Bachelor’s degree in any subject, and be able to speak English of course, though not Japanese for some reason, but I can so that isn’t a problem) after I’ve had enough of that, probably after I marry or something, comeback to the US get a Master’s and teach Japanese here.
You see, I’m confused for many reasons.
-I hope to go a local University but I have my doubts that I’ll get accepted. I’ll probably have to go to a community college. Do I have to go to a community college for 4 whole years and then transfer to a University? My friends told my only 2, but I checked online and everywhere I looked seemed to tell me different things.

-Teaching credentials. Ok what. My career guide guy at school told me about that, but I have no idea what it is or how I get it.

-I understand that you get a Master’s Degree after a Bachelors, but does it have to be directly after? Or can I get it any time?

-My local Community College doesn’t offer Japanese, can I still get a Bachelor’s degree in it? I’m studying it at high school (2 years so far)

Bleh, So many questions d:
Sorry if I sound like a blithering idiot, I’m so tired and frustrated.

By the way, I live in California, not sure if its different how things work in other states/countries.
-Does the associate’s degree have to be the same subject as my Bachelor’s/Master’s degree?

-Also, I don’t understand “majoring in ____”/”Minoring in _____”
What do they mean and how do they work?
-The reason I don’t expect to be accepted to University (I hope for CSU Long Beach or Fullerton) is because I’m TERRIBLE at math. I failed freshman year with a C and F, sophomore with a B and probably a D. And no extra curriculars (though I plan on doing as many as possible now). Doing fine in all my other subjects and even got on honor roll, but I’m not so optimistic.

About teaching English as a foreign language

I am a 16 year old girl planning for her future. I currently live in New Zealand and in the future I hope to move to Japan to teach English as a foreign language. I would like to teach in an elementary-school type situation but I’m also interested in teaching older children, as well as working in cram schools, etc. The problem is, I was wondering if it would be possible to move to Japan after highschool, so when I’m 18, and get a degree in teaching whilst living in Japan? This would also give me a chance to improve my Japanese and gain confidence with speaking, particularly conversing. I currently study Japanese at highschool, and I will continue doing so. I have seen many online teaching courses, but I am not sure of these.. if they are legit, etc. and I am wondering if it is possible to do such a course through correspondence, etc……. so I hope someone has some ideas or maybe can share their experiences with me. If any more information is needed, please don’t hesitate to ask :)

About decide my life for me

Background: 26, BA in Asian Studies, been living in Japan for the past 3 years, indecisive.

My contract ends in a few months, and I keep flip-flopping between my options for what to do when that time comes. I’m really not looking for anyone to decide my life; I’d just like some opinions. (^ー^)

Option A: Go to grad school to become a HS social studies teacher
Pros:
Job security
Love history and geography
Opportunity to travel the world by working in International Schools
Pay/benefits (REALLY good when working in Int’l Schools)
Already have 3 years teaching experience

Cons:
I’m not a morning person. I try, but I’m just not
Haven’t taken GRE/Praxis yet
Minimum 2 years to complete the degree (stuck at home when I could be abroad)
Cost

Option B: Stay in Japan for an extra 6ish months, increase fluency in Japanese. Meanwhile, take online courses at NYU for a certificate in Spanish to English translation (I studied Spanish for 9 years). Become a Spanish/Japanese to English translator.
Pros:
I love languages, would like to learn more
Love reading and writing
Study for certificate can be done online (I might hit up S. America…)
Freedom to work at my own pace/travel

Cons:
Lack of job security
My Spanish is rusty (was near-fluent before Japan), Japanese isn’t where I’d like it to be
Maybe low pay (may need to work an extra job)
Few/no benefits (if I freelance)

I know it’s crazy asking strangers what I should do, but I’d really appreciate any input. Thanks!!!
ps. I don’t want to teach a language; I do it now (ESL) and am not a huge fan. I just like learning and using languages.
Hmm everyone seems to be leaning toward teaching.

Did I mention that I don’t really know if I want to be teacher, but would prob only be doing it for the job security and travel opportunities?

About overseas Engineering Opportunities

I was in the military for 6 years and lived overseas (Portugal) for a little over 3 of those years. I will soon graduate with a B.S. Electronics Engineering degree and would like to find some opportunites overseas WITHOUT rejoining the military. I already know of the top DoD contractors and could probably find some jobs that way (i.e. Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, etc…); but, what are some other companies/recruitors for finding engineering jobs overseas…nothing 3rd world/Middle East. I’m looking for something more European or possibly Asia (Korea? Japan?). I’m suprisingly having a hard time researching this online. Any suggestions/ideas are appreciated.
